“Transparency of CSR skills in European tourism” final conference was held on 3rd of September 2015., in Brussels. CSR ( Corporate Social Responsibility) skills in tourism implicate special skills that are acquired whether at the university or through the practical work experience in the tourism sector, a sector that nowadays has to primarily be sustainable and responsible, and representation of which is becoming of a great importance in a dynamic european labour market. The main goal of the conference was the presentation of different attitudes towards the subject of matter. The conference was organised by Diesis Coop in accordance with EARTH (European Alliance for Responsible Tourism and Hospitality) in the framework of EU Trans CSR project. Mr Pedro Ortun, the director of the Task Force Services and Self Reuglation of the European Commission (DG Grow) presented the strategy of Comission and their future plans for european tourism. The partners of the project presented their researches in the EU countries regarding tourism and CSR skills which emphasized the lack of training in this field at the european level. At the end two simultaneous workshops have been held: “Responsible and sustainable tourism, a living concept at the disposal of SMEs and professionals” by Francesco Marmo, coordinator of AITR (Italian Association for Responsible Tourism), and the other was good practices of CSR qualification in sustainable tourism “CSR Manager” held by Martin Balas ( German project leader Kate).
