EU Committee of the Regions unanimously adopted the Prefect of Dubrovnik-Neretva County's Document opinions

zupan corDocument opinion "Strengthening cross-border cooperation: the need for a regulatory framework?", which was made by the head of the Croatian delegation to the Committee of the Regions, Prefect Nikola Dobroslavić, was adopted unanimously at the plenary assembly of the European Committee of the Regions. This is also the first time that the Croatian member prepared an opinion for the European Committee of the Regions.
During the session of the Assembly county Prefect took part in the discussion with Phil Hogan, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development.
One of the participants during the session of the Assembly was Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission. The main discussions were made about the role of regional and local authorities in the context of EU external action. As part of the Open Days EU county Prefect gave a presentation on "The need for new legal tools in cross-border regions" at a seminar organized by the Luxembourg Ministry for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure.
