Info day on the topic of „Smart grids and energy storage“ was organized by the European Commission, on 3 October 2016.
The main emphasis is placed on one of the key tasks in the EU which invests considerable effort, and that is the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions for all member states by 2030. A mobility strategy for low emissions is linked to the series of measures, but the main focus placed renewable energy and energy efficiency are expected great use in the future, as well as from the consumer, sustainable transport system and efficient energy system.
Smart grids support the stability of the network, helping to establish a balance between electricity production and demand which will significantly affect the vast changes of network operations and the use of electricity during the next two decades.
This is also a very important issue for all EU members.
