Vice-President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani received 16.09.2015. delegation of Dubrovnik-Neretva County - led by the Prefect Nikola Dobroslavić. County delegation has, plainly, came to Brussels at the invitation of Head of the Croatian Delegation in European Parliament Dubravka Šuica. The reason is very significant - the 50th anniversary of the founding of Folklore ensemble "Linđo". Delegation of the Neretva boat marathon that is organizing a big boat marathon on the Danube also came to Brussels. This is to be staged in 2018 - on the fifth anniversary of the Croatian membership in the EU - on the route from Vienna to Vukovar, 400 kilometers long!
The hearing on - Territorial implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy

Dubrovnik Neretva County prefect Mr.Nikola Dobroslavić participated 15.09.2015. at a public hearing on the territorial implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy, which was held in Brussels and organized by the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Parliament.
The guests were welcomed by Czeslaw Siekierski, the Chairman of the Committee, and the members of the European Parliament together with members of Committee of the Regions, European Commission and representatives of several regions were actively engaged in debate, and the regional representatives expressed their experience of the implementation of the common agricultural policy and rural development programs in their areas.
Head of County had an occasion to give an overview on the projects in agriculture and rural development that have been conducted, carried out and prepared by county in cooperation with the Development Agency DUNEA; such as: the establishment of thematic - tourist trails, the development of wine tourism, the identification of traditional products, the establishment of LAGs, the establishment of Competence Centre for citrus fruit. He also emphasized the importance and role of projects financed from EU funds for future development of rural areas of our county and creation of more competitive agricultural production.
Info Day on the Horizon 2020 Work programme 2016-2017
The info day targeted potential applicants to the calls for project proposals under the H2020 challenge ‘Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy’. The new Work Programme for 2016-2017 in the area of H2020 energy research was presented on 14 September, and in-depth sessions on various calls of the Work Programme were held on 15 September.

Transparency of CSR skills in European Tourism
“Transparency of CSR skills in European tourism” final conference was held on 3rd of September 2015., in Brussels. CSR ( Corporate Social Responsibility) skills in tourism implicate special skills that are acquired whether at the university or through the practical work experience in the tourism sector, a sector that nowadays has to primarily be sustainable and responsible, and representation of which is becoming of a great importance in a dynamic european labour market. The main goal of the conference was the presentation of different attitudes towards the subject of matter.
