The EU Commission is allocating €357 million of Cohesion Policy funds to build a bridge that will connect the southernmost part of the country and Dubrovnik to the rest of mainland Croatia.

The 7th Cohesion Forum, which took place on 26-27 June 2017 in Brussels, is a large scale political event held every three years, bringing together more than 700 people including high level representatives from European institutions, central governments, regional and local representatives, economic and social partners, NGOs and academics.

From June 15, roaming charges across 28 European countries will no longer be in place. The European Union has scrapped roaming charges following a vote in the European Parliament in February. Now EU citizens won't be charged extra for calls, SMS messages or internet outside their home countries, when travelling in the EU.
